Process Introduction
1. Crushing. The particle size of bauxite in the mine is about 300~500mm, with low moisture content. After being crushed by jaw crusher and hammer crusher, the particle size of bauxite is about 25mm.
2. Adding chemicals. Additional materials such as bauxite and manganese powder are transported to the belt conveyor through a belt scale to determine the appropriate ratio. When the moisture content of bauxite or other materials exceeds 6%, they must be dried first.
3. Grinding. In the grinding process, the main equipment is the ball mill and separator, which form a closed-circuit grinding system, and the material particle size is required to be less than 300 mesh.
4. Granulator. The ground raw material powder is stored in a hopper, usually 2-3 hoppers, which can be unloaded individually or in combination with multiple hoppers. The raw material powder enters a small silo, which is equipped with a spiral metering device or a belt scale. The material is transported to the granulator, and water is sprayed to the granulator through a pipeline pump. When the granulator rotates, the raw material can be made into ceramic raw sand of various particle sizes, which is transported to the rotary kiln by a belt conveyor. Qualified sand is calcined in the rotary kiln, and oversized sand is returned to the raw material grinding process. The granulation system is fully automatic and continuous, and is equipped with a bag dust collector to purify exhaust gas.
5. Calcination. Ceramic raw sand is calcined in the rotary kiln. As the rotary kiln rotates and tilts, the calcined ceramic sand moves toward the kiln head. At the same time, coal powder is sprayed from the kiln head into the kiln head burner. The ceramic raw sand is calcined into high-strength ceramic sand in the rotary kiln.
6. Preparation of coal powder. Coal powder is prepared by ball mill or vertical mill, and the hot air from the kiln head is used to dry the coal powder. The fineness of the coal powder can be adjusted at will by using a separator; it provides sufficient conditions for the full combustion of the coal powder.
7. Cooling of finished products. Ceramic sand is generally cooled by a rotary cooler, which is simple and reliable. The secondary air of the cooler absolutely enters the kiln, and the multi-channel burner can save a lot of energy. The temperature of the cooled ceramic sand is very low and can be touched by hand.
8. Screening. After passing through the cooler, the ceramic sand can be directly transported to the multi-stage vibrating screen and can be divided into multiple particle levels as required.

Model 2: 0.9-1.25mm (16-20 mesh) high strength medium density
Model 3: 1.0-1.70mm (12-18 mesh) high strength medium density
Model 4: 0.224-0.65mm (40mesh-60mesh) high strength medium density
9. Packaging. The sieved ceramic sand is transported to different silos, which are connected to the packaging machine, and the finished products are transported to the warehouse for stocking. Each dust point in the process needs to be equipped with a dust collector to purify the exhaust gas.
